Jason Anderson has 15 years experience working as a Marketing Director in real estate and government.

Jason began his career in real estate at BuildingOps, a #proptech company that sought to bring building management online for the first time. Jason’s responsibilities at BuildingOps ranged the full gamut of tech startup to-do’s. He was involved in the branding, marketing, conceptualizing, development, and partnerships for the entire project. Jason spent his days working with real estate service providers and reverse engineered every possible scenario they encountered when servicing a commercial building and creating a contract. Jason then went on to work at Metropolitan Public Strategies, a political think tank formed by Governor Andrew Cuomo’s top aides and speechwriters. At MPS, Jason worked on political campaigns and long term educational campaigns for NY State lobbyist groups. The two main lobbying campaigns he worked on both won design awards and led to successfully passing legislation in both NY and Florida.

After leaving MPS, Jason became Digital Marketing Director of SUNY Schools, where he worked in a government relations department and reported to Vice Chancellor Travis Proulx. At SUNY, Jason was responsible for writing, producing, and designing marketing materials for all 64 of SUNY’s campuses, as well as managing and designing budget presentations for Governor Cuomo.

During COVID, Jason designed a video that was shown by Governor Cuomo during a national press conference, and then went on to write his first story for the NYPost which went viral on every single digital platform.

For the last 3 years, Jason has been the marketing director at Moinian Group, one of the largest real estate developers in NYC. At Moinian Group he manages, produces, and directs all marketing materials for the Moinian Group’s entire portfolio including:

When not working in real estate, Jason also moonlights in local NYC politics. He is the co-founder of OCR (a local political organization) that advocates for common sense policies that help landlords and small businesses, and works directly with Mayor Adams on solutions to reducing homelessness.

Assisted in getting his op-Eds published in major newspapers and connecting him to major television stations. Raised money for his campaign and grew his social media presence to over 4,000 followers in 4 months.
